私の方では、9月に女児を出産し、来週で2ヶ月になります。
 
前回のお知らせでは、新生児の世話をしてくれる人がいることを知って、11月から仕事に復帰できることをお伝えしました。しかし、不測の事態が発生したため、その支援が受けられず、代替案を探してみましたがありませんでした。そこで、産休（育休）を教えられるようになるまで延長したいと思います。
 
代替案を探していたため、お知らせが遅くなってしまいましたことをお詫び申し上げます。

教えられるようになりましたら、またご報告させていただきます。

Dear all,

I hope you are doing well.

On my side, I gave birth to a baby girl in September and she is turning 2 months old next week.

In my previous announcement, I mentioned that I would be able to return to work in November knowing that I would have someone take care of the newborn while I work. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, that help is not available now and I have tried to look for alternative arrangements but to no avail. Therefore, I am writing this to inform you that I would like to extend my maternity leave (or better termed "childcare leave" now) until I can teach with no disruption.

I sincerely apologize for the late announcement as I have been exploring my options before making this final decision. I will make another announcement when I am ready to teach again.
