Reached 500 lessons on Cafetalk

2023년 10월 6일

 Dear My students

*最後に日本語を記載しています。

I am now writing a message of thanks to my students.

Let me start by introducing my background.

In December 2019, I traveled to New York, USA, to pursue my fitness certification. I was influenced by my Korean boyfriend with an American background, whom I had been dating for 7 years at the time. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, I had to abandon my certification pursuit. However, I commenced studying English on Cafetalk. It was there that I met an American university professor who later became a significant influence in my life. I shared with her all the details of my personal life. She recommended the joys of teaching Japanese on Cafetalk and engaging in the education business. Thus, I began my journey to obtain my Japanese teacher certification.

During the summer of 2020, I worked at Waseda University in Tokyo while simultaneously pursuing my education studies. At the same time, I also started teaching Japanese on Cafetalk. After completing two years of graduate school work, I spent six months in New Zealand to gain business experience. Currently, I am employed by an American IT company. At the onset of the pandemic, I never imagined that I would eventually work for an American company. Concurrently, I plan to resume my studies at Waseda Graduate School in October.

I am on the verge of reaching 500 lessons on Cafetalk. Naturally, the number is not the most important aspect. There are approximately 700 Japanese language teachers on Cafetalk, and my teaching skills may be ranked as the 700th. However, I am grateful to my students who have chosen me out of all these options. When you accomplish your goals, I may no longer be necessary. Nonetheless, I am pleased to have been a part of your journey, however small, in your life. I hope you find a teacher on Cafetalk who will significantly impact your life, just as I have.

With warm regards,
Thank you very much!!
Nana
