How do I go about requesting the right lesson?

Find Lessons & Tutors with the Lesson/Tutor Search
The Lesson Search and Tutor Search allow you to apply specific filters to find the perfect Japanese tutor for you! -
Book a Consultation/Level-Check Class first!
- If the tutor offers one, it can be useful to book a Counseling/ Consultation/ Level-Check class first. This will allow you to communicate your expectations to the tutor, and the tutor can assess your level and learning history. Don’t be shy to tell your tutor if you have specific ideas!
- If you have no idea where to start, tell your tutor that! Many tutors have lots of experience and can help you find the perfect place to start.

Use the Comment Section If You Need To
If need be, you can use the comment section on the booking page of your request to ask your tutor anything! -
Have Your Lesson on Zoom or Skype
Meet your tutor on Skype or Zoom and have your actual lesson! To assure a smooth flow, try to be online and available on the app about 5 minutes before your lesson is scheduled. -
Receive Your Feedback & Review Your Lesson
Your tutor will send you some feedback and notes after the lesson so you can review what you’ve learned! Then, you can book another lesson with your tutor or try out a new tutor!

In today's lesson we looked at a draft of an email I wish to send to a car manufacturer.
As he corrected the text, Ryu-sensei was careful to find the wording that would best convey both the factual and emotional content.
He was also careful to explain clearly the differences in nuance between my phrasings and his corrections.
As well as being excellent study, the lesson was also a most enjoyable one! I look forward to taking another again in the near future!
