Hello - my name is Dan and I'm from a small town in Sussex, England about an hour away from London.

I live with my family and pet dog (called Juno) and cat (called Alfie)

I also have a wide range of interests: sport, music, current affairs, history and travel. I am a big fan of Arsenal Football Club and love eating food from all over the world, especially Japanese and Korean dishes. 

I lived for 18 months in Shizuoka, Japan teaching English conversation to Japanese people of all ages and abilities. I really enjoyed meeting people with different stories and experiences, and that's my main reason for joining Cafetalk. 

I am a friendly and relaxed tutor with strong listening skills.

My lessons are:
- Based on natural spoken English not textbook English.
- For beginners, intermediate and advanced students.
- Designed for you! I can help you develop and reach your own goals. I am happy to prepare special lessons and topics.
- All available for a short, cheap trial.

I can help you improve your vocabulary (including idioms), pronunciation, listening and grammar. We can even practise reading if you like. 

I love teaching English and I'm sure you will have fun and improve when you book a lesson with me.
