About me
Hi! My name is Oriane and I am a native French speaker from France.
I am originally from Brittany (Bretagne), but I grew up near Paris and Versailles.
I have been living in Japan since 2017.
I have spent many years working in international environments, where communication between cultures was part of my daily work. In my previous position as a designer for a Japanese company, I was also responsible for communicating with customers abroad, mainly in the United States and Europe.
Through this experience, I realized something very important: speaking a language is not always enough. In professional situations, understanding cultural nuances, communication styles, and professional etiquette can make a real difference.
This is why I decided to focus on teaching practical French for professionals. My lessons are designed for people who want to use French in real situations such as presentations, meetings, networking events, or business dinners.
About the lesson
My teaching style is practical, supportive, and goal-oriented. Rather than focusing only on grammar like traditional school classes, I help students develop the confidence to communicate naturally and effectively.
Each lesson is adapted to the student's objectives. Some students want to prepare for presentations, others want to improve their professional communication or feel more comfortable speaking with French partners or clients.
During our lessons, we may work on:
presentation structure and pronunciation
networking conversations
business etiquette and cultural nuances
vocabulary used in professional environments
business dinner conversations
Lessons are conducted in French or English.
I do not teach in Japanese, and my lessons are designed for students who already have some basic knowledge of French (approximately A2 level or above).
If you are a professional who wants to use French more confidently in an international environment, I would be happy to support you.
I look forward to meeting you in class!
