Hi. I am Ayaka, a vocalist in a piano & vocal unit.

I used to belong to a music production in Tokyo as a singer-songwriter, writing lyrics, performing live, and distributing music. I received vocal training from professional musicians and vocalists, and received guidance from a well-known producer how to bring out the best in my vocal tone through singing and how to be an artist people expect. Currently, I sing cover songs of both Western and Japanese music with slow arrangements, and I do Youtube streaming and live performances. I also do my own vocal recording, sound editing, and vocal editing.

 

Based on the above experiences in recording and over ten years as a vocalist,

my specialty lies in discerning the appropriate singing techniques for each individual’s voice and temperament, and bringing out the unique strengths and qualities of their voice.

　

Furthermore, I am currently working as an English trainer, offering lessons that combine songs based on world nursery rhymes with English for moms, babies, and children.

Sing one of your favorite songs for me to check your vocal  foundational skills including rhythm, pitch, and vocal projection.

I will provide feedback on your challenges and areas to focus on.

We'll also ask about the type of songs you want to sing and provide guidance on the necessary practice to reach your goals. Feel free to talk about your aspirations and dreams related to singing, discuss how you want the lessons to progress, and share any concerns, questions, or things you want to know – I'm here to listen to everything you want to share.

Based on this consultation, I will then inform you of the available lesson options.

 

Those who wish to receive advice on singing one song proficiently are also warmly welcomed. In such cases, please be aware that it may take around 4 to 8 lessons to achieve the desired results.

 

Those who want to become artists, it will be necessary to allocate more time for self-practice and lessons.

I hope that all of you will reach your set goals and achieve your desired level of proficiency.

 

During the 【Trial Lesson/Initial Consultation】, I will inquire about your desired lesson schedule.

(For example, how many times a month you'd like to have ○-minute lessons, or if you want to finish one song by a certain date).

It would be helpful if you could provide a rough estimate.

1.Vocal training for those who want to improve their singing skills.

 

For those who love singing, beginners in voice training, and anyone who wants to become a better singer or has a specific song you want to learn, you are all welcome. Let's progress step by step from the basics.

 

 

・Rhythm

・Pitch/Tone

・Vocalization

・Enunciation

・Expressiveness

・Body Movement

・Reading the flow of the song

 

 

If you are just starting to learn how to sing for the first time, you might feel a little worried. But please don't worry. You will surely discover your own singing style. 

 

In the beginning, you need to think about what kind of songs you want to sing and who or in which occasions you want to have listen to your singing. If you have a specific image in mind, you will surely reach your goals.

 

For those aiming for a high level, clarify by when you want to achieve that level and what exactly you want to achieve. To improve, please decide at what pace you should take lessons in order to make progress.

 

In the lesson, I will offer basic vocal training, guidance on mindset, and suggestions for singing techniques that align with your voice's characteristics.

2.More advanced vocal training for those aiming to become artists.

 

 

In lessons for those aspiring to become professionals or aiming for a higher level, I will provide techniques to finely adjust your voice for more detailed expression.


 

 

・Sensing the space between notes

・Stress on consonants and vowels

・Variation of vibrato

・Controlling the amount of breath.

・Modifying the mouth's form

・The throat position while vocalizing

For those aiming for a higher level, it is essential to be able to perceive the nuances of sound and feel the flow of music. It can be challenging to control your voice as you imagine, and at times, it may feel frustrating. Developing these skills takes time, so proceed steadily and patiently. With plenty of practice, you will undoubtedly discover your own singing style.

3.Vocal training for Western music, including English pronunciation correction.

( for Japanese students )

 

We will work towards completing one song within 6-8 lessons. 

The lessons will include basic vocal training, correcting English pronunciation, and understanding English lyrics as a set.

 

 

As an English instructor, I offer moms, babies, and children with lessons that combine songs and English using world nursery rhymes as the theme.

Additionally, I incorporate voice training to improve English pronunciation. 

There are many common elements between voice training and English pronunciation practice, so learning them simultaneously has a synergistic effect. 

It enables faster skill acquisition compared to learning them separately.

 

If you want to practice singing your favorite English songs perfectly, or if you wish to combine comprehensive vocal lessons with English pronunciation correction, or even if you are currently studying English and want to improve your pronunciation, please come and join the lessons!

4.Vocal training for singing Japanese songs for overseas individuals.

 

I will offer the lessons for those from overseas who want to be able to sing their favorite Japanese songs, including anime songs, ballads, and other J-POP songs. 

You can improve your Japanese pronunciation skills, or be able to read lyrics written in kanji or hiragana.

Please feel free to take the lessons.

 

 I have studied abroad in countries like the United States, China, and Taiwan for about 5 years, so I can have simple daily conversations in English and Chinese. 

I can provide assistance using English or Chinese during the lessons for those who don't understand Japanese well.

 

Basically, the lessons will be conducted in Japanese, primarily focusing on helping you with your Japanese language studies.

I will speak slowly and easily.

I will also pay careful attention to Japanese

pronunciation correction.

 

We will complete one song of your choice with 6-8 lessons.

If you want to learn how to read hiragana from the very beginning, it may take a little more time.
