Hello, my name is Florian. You can also call me “Flo”. I come from the land of pristine beaches and beauty queens, the Philippines. I am a confident, independent and ambitious person who loves traveling, trail running, joining vertical races and marathons, as well as fashion, beauty and writing. I am a “multifaceted” person. I am the type who loves to challenge myself to be better and to go beyond my comfort zone. This is the reason why, apart from being a teacher, I also joined the e-commerce industry and trading industry. I believe in “hard work” but I also believe in working smart.
During my career as a teacher, my stint in sports and business, I met so many wonderful people from across the globe. I love talking to different types of people. It is always nice to know the perspective and culture of others. I believe that everyone in this world has a story to tell.

Teaching experience
I have 8 years experience in online teaching. I specialize in exam preparation and conversational English. My main specializations are IELTS,TOEFL and Business English. I have worked with some of the biggest companies in China and some top companies in the ESL industry.
- My teaching style is relaxed and flexible, as well as “goal-oriented”. I always asked my students prior to the lesson about their goals and objectives. This is to help me create a good lesson plan. I make use of a variety of materials such as PDF files, news articles and visual materials as well. I am a reliable teacher who wants my students to achieve a level of fluency that they want to have. I also provide an evaluation about the students' performance. I am straightforward and honest when it comes to giving feedback to my students. The best adjectives to describe me as a teacher would be cheerful, passionate and reliable.
