Hi! I’m Camilla!

Teaching English is my passion. I believe that no matter what your English level is, you can greatly improve your skills when you enjoy learning the language. So I offer fun and engaging English lessons!

About Me

I’m a native English speaker, born in the Philippines but raised in Papua New Guinea. I grew up in an international environment, from studying at an international school to having yearly family vacations overseas. When I returned to the Philippines for my university studies, it was only then that I learned how to speak Tagalog (Filipino language) through daily conversations with family and friends. 

I love learning different languages and about different cultures. Most of my teaching experience was to Asian students in China, Japan, and South Korea. I have taught English online to Japanese students for over three years and have learned and love their culture. Teaching English to Japanese students movtivated me in my teaching career and inspired me to learn Japanese.I look the JLPT N5 test in 2023 and my goal is to speak Japanese conversationally. My goal is to teach English to more students around the world!

 

In my free time, I like reading books, traveling, playing chess, and spending time with my family and friends!
