HELLO! I'M KIM

I'm a native British English teacher from the south of England, currently living in Spain.

I help adult learners who can already communicate in English but want to speak more naturally, fluently and confidently.

I specialise in natural, everyday British English – the vocabulary, expressions and pronunciation you'll actually hear when speaking to British people.

MY LESSONS

My lessons are relaxed and conversation-based, with plenty of opportunity for you to speak.

We might discuss an interesting topic, talk about everyday life or use a short article as the starting point for a conversation.

During our lessons, I'll help you with:

• natural vocabulary and phrasing
• everyday British expressions
• pronunciation
• fluency and speaking confidence
• important grammar mistakes
• finding more natural ways to express your ideas

Every student is different, so I'll adapt our conversations to your level, interests and goals.

NATURAL BRITISH ENGLISH

Knowing English from a textbook and understanding the English people actually speak can sometimes feel very different.

I love helping learners understand the everyday language British people use, including natural expressions, phrasal verbs, idioms and informal language.

We can also work on British pronunciation and the way words and phrases sound in natural connected speech.

My aim isn't to change your accent. It's to help you communicate clearly and understand natural spoken British English more easily.

ABOUT ME

I'm a qualified English teacher with a Level 5 TEFL qualification and an additional qualification in Teaching Business English.

I teach adult learners online from different countries and backgrounds. I also create educational content about British English, pronunciation, vocabulary and everyday expressions.

As someone who has learnt another language myself, I understand how different it can feel to know a language and actually use it naturally in conversation.

ARE MY LESSONS RIGHT FOR YOU?

My lessons are best suited to adult intermediate, upper-intermediate and advanced learners.

They could be a good fit if you:

• understand English quite well but struggle to express yourself naturally
• want more opportunities to practise speaking
• want to expand your everyday vocabulary
• would like to understand British people more easily
• use English when travelling, living abroad or at work
• want help with British pronunciation and natural spoken English

My lessons are not designed for complete beginners or young children.

You don't need to prepare anything unless you want to. Just come ready to talk!
