Hello, my name is John. 
I'm originally from London, England. I've taught English to all ages and levels in Japan and Thailand, for over 20 years.
In our classes we'll focus on your needs as a student.
What are your goals in studying English?
Our classes will be designed to help you achieve those goals.
Along the way I'll help you improve your pronunciation and I'll show you how to use English effectively in the modern world.
The emphasis is on accurate communication in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
From studying Japanese and Thai, I understand the language learning process from both a teacher and student perspective.
I see mistakes as opportunities to learn, build confidence and overcome any shyness in speaking a foreign language.
I have experience in teaching Business English, Medical English, IELTS test preparation and of course English Conversation.
When not teaching I like to paint in both Oil and Acrylic mediums. I'm interested in History and Japanese Culture. I enjoy reading English Literature and I love hiking in nature.
