Who is this Mr. Terry?
I am an American from the cold state of Minnesota. I completed my studies at the University of Minnesota with a double major in Geography and Chinese Studies. I am filled with curiosity and find great joy and in exploring life as a student as well as a teacher. I currently live and work in Hong Kong.
Growing up in the capital city of Saint Paul, I came to appreciate both the arts and culture of city living, as well as the beauty of the great outdoors outside of my hometown. My interests and hobbies include: movies, music, geopolitics, graphic design, photography, snowboarding, hunting, fishing and camping. A perfect day for me is walking in a brand new place and letting my imagination roam wild!

What Types of Classes Do I Teach?
My classes are made specifically for each of my students because each student has a different learning style and background. I focus on locating your interests and teaching language through these interests. Here is a general overview of the types of classes I offer:
1) Chatting/Conversation
2) Reading Practice
3) Writing/Proofreading
4) Structured Topic Discussion
5) Practical Instruction
Through this style we practice relavent vocabulary, grammar structures and native expressions to make your speaking, writing and overall understanding of English natural. Your ability to communicate in English will become less restrained and your confidence will grow!
