Consultation services for people working in Japan:
Business Japanese × Communication Coaching
~An instructor with 10 years of HR experience will support you in your daily life in Japan while addressing your concerns~
Hello.
I’m Kayo (佳世), a Japanese language tutor.
The Japanese business environment, and in particular, the communication styles unique to Japanese companies, can be extremely complex and challenging, even for native Japanese speakers.
For international employees, with so many invisible “unspoken rules,” it’s likely that they often feel confused.
Despite possessing outstanding abilities, they struggle because they can’t adapt to the unique atmosphere of Japanese companies or the style of their superiors, and end up suffering from misunderstandings.
During my time in human resources, I saw so many workers like this, regardless of their nationality, and I felt strongly that it’s such a waste, and that I wanted to help them.
I launched this course so that you can fully utilize your abilities and thrive with confidence and without stress in the Japanese workplace.
■■Recommended for Individuals Like This■■
My lessons aren’t just about going through textbook grammar and pronunciation.
They’re a space for “practical coaching and strategy sessions” designed to make your work life easier starting tomorrow. (My lessons are intended for learners at N3 to N1 levels and above.)
For instance, if you’re someone who has no trouble getting by in daily life in Japan, but…
- Wants to learn natural Japanese (communication skills) to work more smoothly with your boss and colleagues
- Wants someone to listen to your anxieties and concerns about cultural differences, and to hear opinions from the perspective of a Japanese business professional (HR)
- Wants to prepare before starting work at a Japanese company
- Wants to develop the ability to converse naturally with Japanese people
I’ll do my very best to support you.
■■Lesson Content■■
① Consultative Japanese Lessons for Working Professionals (25 minutes / 50 minutes)
- While discussing your workplace concerns, you’ll also have the chance to learn natural Japanese expressions and business etiquette. I’ll listen to any worries or anxieties you might have without judgment, so please don’t hesitate to start by sharing whatever’s on your mind. Then, let’s work together to come up with a plan to make tomorrow a little more enjoyable.
② Build Your Small Talk Skills! Casual Conversation (25 minutes / 50 minutes)
- Develop natural communication and small talk skills through enjoyable chats. I welcome topics about work, your personal life, and anything at all.
③ On the Spot! Japanese Correction & Feedback (50 minutes)
- I’ll correct your Japanese documents, emails, and more on the spot and provide feedback. (My guideline is generally around 500 characters, but if I need to make many corrections, I may decrease the word count to less than 500 characters.)
■■Profile & Background■■
- Education and Career Background:

- Certifications:
Certified Coach / HSK Level 6 / TOEIC 850 / Class 2 Occupational Health and Safety Manager (*To provide even higher-quality support, I am currently incorporating the latest insights from my work as a registered Japanese language teacher and my national certifications.)

■■To Everyone Considering Taking My Lessons■■
As I am currently balancing my career while raising two children and studying Japanese language education, I’m able to offer lessons only a few times a week.
However, I dedicate all my energy to addressing the concerns of each and every student I have the privilege of working with, and I do my best to provide support that’s more attentive than anywhere else.
I’m looking forward to creating a moment that brings a smile to your face on the other side of the screen.
Please feel free to come chat with me about the “real feelings” you have at your workplace!
I look forward to meeting you!
