Hello, Kia ora koutou

My name is Carla I live in New Zealand but recently I completed a global exchange program in Nagoya Studying at Nagoya University of Foreign Studies. 

I was only in Nagoya for one university semester but would love to return after completing my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Japanese.

I am a native English speaker with a conversational level of Japanese speaking.

While I studied as an international student in Japan, I tutored Japanese students in English 3 times a week and would love to continue supporting students with their English skills.

I do not have any teaching qualifications yet, but I do have experience as a Trainer at a tourism school in New Zealand teaching college students skills to become Flight Attendants. I was an International Flight Attendant working in business and first class for 10 years before becoming a university student. 

I was also a swim instructor before my career as a Flight Attendant.

I have gained a wide range of experience from my professional working background. 

I have gained many skills from teaching and tutoring that have helped me develop a passion and love for teaching and tutoring that will assist with achieving my goals and the goals of my students.

My lessons are fun, easy and conversational. If you would like to talk about travel, animals, exercise and food you have come to the right place.
