Hi, I’m Anthony!

 

I'm from the UK, and I’ve been living in Japan for over 10 years. I’ve taught English for 16+ years, helping students of all levels gain confidence and speak naturally.

 

I focus on friendly, relaxed lessons tailored to your goals — from daily conversation to business English.

 

Outside teaching:

•I practice yoga almost daily

•Play the saxophone (not very well!)

•Bake sourdough bread

•Recently rescued a cat named Short

•Spent a year running a small dairy farm in Ehime with my wife — lots of stories to share!

I adapt lessons to your preferences:

•Gently correct key points during our chat to help you notice patterns, or

•Focus on fluency and share notes afterward so we make the most of our time

 

We can talk about topics you enjoy, prepare for travel, improve conversation skills, or explore business English and pronunciation.
