Hi everyone,
My name is Kevin and I'm a Career + Communication Coach in Tokyo, JP. I'm from the US (Los Angeles, California & Arizona), but I've been living and working in Japan for 12+ years.

During this time I worked with the Tokyo Board of Education and Gakken where I helped recruit, train, and manage over 400+ international educators from over 50+ countries. I love working with international cultures and helping people grow in their careers.

My other work experience includes IT recruitment and a short period as a software engineer — so I'm happy to talk about technology as well. My education background is in business (MBA) and Creative Writing (bachelors degree), both from the University of Arizona.

My sessions are designed to help you do more than just learn English. Anyone can find a list of vocab words or grammar rules in seconds these days. What's more difficult is finding the confidence, the motivation, and the passion to continue learning.

I design each session to focus on what matters most to you — your career and your interests. I prepare natural expressions, common patterns, and discussion questions based on topics that you choose. Together we work to express ourselves and learn in a way that is authentic to who you are.

Sample topics include:
  • Meetings with international colleagues
  • English-speaking customer interactions
  • Overcoming challenges at work
  • Presentation skills
