Hi, I’m Chiharu!
I have supported multinational teams as an assistant at global firms, including Morgan Stanley and J.P. Morgan over the past 10 years.

You might feel that "Japanese is difficult," but don't worry! I personally have the experience of taking over 300 online English lessons as a learner. Because I truly understand the anxieties of a student, I strive to provide supportive lessons.

Career: I have prioritized speed and attentiveness. I can provide advice on how to use sophisticated Japanese that is actually effective in the workplace.

Travel & Life Abroad: I have traveled to 19 countries, studied in Australia for three months, and lived in Indonesia for five years. Bahasa Jepang susah, ya?

Interests: I love Disney movies and K-dramas. I currently live in the Shonan area, and I have a 12-year-old daughter and a 9-year-old son. Recently, I’ve been working hard on dieting and strength training, and I successfully lost 6kg!

Free Talk: Let’s enjoy relaxed conversations about hobbies, travel, dramas, and more.
Small Talk: Practice for smoother "casual chats" at the workplace.
Explanation: Strengthen your ability to explain your opinions and work logically and clearly.
Practical Communication: Practice real-world interactions such as troubleshooting and status reporting.
Interview Prep: Support for final checks on your interview style and Japanese expressions.

I currently work as a freelancer for an American Tech company. Even now, I feel the daily challenges of using a foreign language at work. At the same time, the joy and the happiness of being able to communicate with someone in another language are very special. I would be delighted to help you make your work life more enjoyable and positive.

Lessons will be conducted via Zoom.  If you would prefer not to use your camera, please let me know when making your request. In that case, I will also turn off my camera on my end. Please feel free to join in whatever way makes you feel most comfortable!
