I am a teacher by trade and have taught languages for 15+ years. I started my teaching career as a teacher of English in Nara, Japan around 2004 at Kansai English School. It is what is known as a "juku" or cram school where I taught elementary school children to senior highs school students the English language at varying levels. I studied Japanese, of which I have a BA in and I studied English and linguistics at the University.
The last years I have taught Swedish both online and on site with EF to various companies, notably Ericsson, Volvo, SAAB and TetraPak.
To further introduce myself. I am a Swedish citizen, resident of Lund city. I live in the south of Sweden. However I am of half English descent. My mother comes from the US, Rockford Illinois. So although I lived in Sweden most of my life (a year and a half I spent in Japan), I spoke English with my mother during my raise all the time. She was an author. She authored many books most that were published in Swedish however, notably "Jarastavens vandring" a historical fantasy. My father is a politician and I have two brothers of which one lives in
Edmonton Canada currently.
