Hi! I’m Clémentine, a native French speaker. I’m an artist and textile designer currently traveling through Japan. I hold a double degree in Fashion & Textile Design and Fashion & Communication. As you might guess, I am passionate about art, design, and anything related to crafts. For me, art is a way to tell stories and share a vision.

I learned English mostly on my own, and I am currently learning Japanese. I know how challenging it can be to study a new language, and how important it is to stay motivated — through movies, books, music, and above all, conversation.

I like to make my lessons interactive and fun: playing games, doing creative activities, or simply discussing our daily lives and interests.

⭐︎ MY TEACHING STYLE ⭐︎

My lessons focus mainly on speaking, helping you become more comfortable and giving you useful tools so you can talk without feeling shy.

I can also help with exam preparation through more structured lessons and planned objectives.

⭐︎ TYPES OF LESSONS I OFFER ⭐︎

1. Casual conversation lesson

A relaxed lesson where we talk together at your pace.
At the end, I will send you a recap of what we talked about, vocabulary we focused on, and a few personal tips.

2. Lesson with follow-up

These lessons focus on a specific goal you want to reach — for example, traveling, improving fluency, or preparing for an exam.
Before we start, I like to have a 15-minute counseling session to discuss your goals, your motivation, and your level. This also gives us a chance to meet each other before deciding to work together.

3. Art & craft lesson

A creative lesson in French or English where we focus on a simple technique (drawing, collage, etc.) while practicing the language.
It’s a great way to express yourself and learn naturally through hands-on activities.

⭐︎ TEACHING EXPERIENCE ⭐︎

I have organized a workshop in my former design school, and most of my teaching experience comes from volunteering, where I taught and practiced French and English with learners from children to adults.

⭐︎ WHAT I OFFER ⭐︎

Through my lessons, you will be able to practice French or English in a relaxed and creative atmosphere. If you want, we can also include art-related activities to make the learning process even more enjoyable.

⭐︎ MY HOBBIES ⭐︎

As you probably guessed, I’m passionate about art, fashion, and all kinds of crafts. I love discovering new techniques and artists, so please feel free to share your interests with me!

Probably out of professional habit, I’m also very passionate about cinema and reading. My two favorite authors are Haruki Murakami and Alain Damasio.

Since I’m still learning about Japanese cinema, I would love to hear any recommendations you might have!
