Hello there! Thank you for visiting my Cafetalk page. My name is Estee and I am a native English speaker, who loves to help foreigners speak English fluently and with confidence. I like meeting people and chatting about interesting subjects so much, that I created conversational online lessons to assist you in learning English in a relaxing and fun atmosphere. I also have a few other lessons which are more intense with the focus on grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and listening.
Education:
I have a B.A. degree in Journalism and Communications and completed three Cambridge University certificate courses, Teaching Speaking, Teaching Vocabulary and Pronunciation, and Teaching Cambridge English First. I also obtained a 120 Hour TEFL Certificate.
Teaching:
Four years ago, after a 25-year career as a journalist and an editor, I started teaching English online to adults and teens. I enjoyed it so much that I'm now a full-time teacher, teaching from the comfort of my wingback chair, mostly barefoot. My students range from educated second language speakers to foreign language beginners.
I create exciting and engaging lessons to motivate my students and help them to learn effectively. I believe in constructing lessons that will make students excited to learn English by using effective teaching methods and incorporating interesting and authentic teaching materials.
