Hi. My name is Teacher Jacqueline - and I am an Online English Tutor (certified TEFL/TESOL), based in the UK: Teaching ‘English’ speaking skills (live) - with over 5-years of Teaching ‘English’ online experience.
Classes are based on ‘English: speaking’ practice - and also include levels of basic ‘grammar’ and ‘pronunciation’, too.
Teaching Style - I am a patient Tutor with a communicative teaching style.
In class: I will also encourage you to ‘speak’, ‘read’, ‘listen’ (‘understand’) and or ‘discuss’ each lesson topic, with more confidence.

‘Freestyle’ Conversation Practice:
Many of my students have often welcomed a varied list of ‘conversational themes’, based on ‘everyday English’.
Dependent upon your ‘English’ level: we can cover ‘themes’, such as:
1) The weather - we ‘British’ often like to talk about the ‘weather’!
2) Food - favourite 'foods', 'recipes' and 'restaurants'.
3) Movies - I will encourage you to 'talk about your favourite movies' (and 'actors').
4) Music - I will also encourage you to explain more about your own music choices, too.
5) Holidays (vacations) - this is a really great 'theme' for 'conversation practice' as 'holidays' are often referred to in 'small talk', with colleagues (or those who you are just 'getting to know better').
6) Family - I enjoy 'listening' to students explaining about their 'week' and or 'weekend', as well as, 'family get-togethers' and 'festivals'. I look forward to hearing more about your 'family' and the country where you live, too.
7) Places to visit in 'England' - there are so many interesting places ('towns' and 'cities') to visit, around the UK.
8) Pets - 'family pets' (who live at home) are very popular here in the UK.
9) Hobbies - this is another great 'theme' for 'conversation practice' as a person's 'hobby' is often referred to, in 'small talk', too.
10) Sports and Fitness - watching 'sport' on 'television' is another great 'British' pastime: I will also encourage you to talk about your favourite 'sports'.
My Teaching Style is based on: Communicative Language Teaching. This means that I make great use of my excellent communication skills to help you 'build' on your own 'conversational English' skills level - in a more 'natural' way.
'Conversational English' practice classes also include 'written feedback', sent after class (within 24-hours).
I also offer: pre-exam classes - where you can 'practice' your 'conversational English' before your 'speaking' exam.
I will also help you to begin to 'believe' that you really can 'achieve' (a better level of 'confidence') when speaking in everyday 'conversational English', with others.
I am able to offer 'conversational English' classes to students at 'any level' (A2 - C1). Many of my students have booked classes, in order to practice:
a) Conversational English.
b) Speaking Practice (before exam).
c) Pronunciation Practice (including 'vowel-sounds').
d) How to use 'idioms', in 'everyday English' (as 'natural' English).
e) Basic Grammar (when to use 'past', 'present' and 'future' tenses, in conversation
See you next class!
