I am applying to work with Cafetalk due to the flexibility of the job. I am able to choose the hours in which I want to work and also am able to work from home. Another reason is because I love helping people with academic difficulties.
I am a Bioscience graduate with 3 years of experience training as a teaching assistant. I did my training in Italy as it formed part of the course I was training. During the training, I assisted the teachers in teaching students with learning difficulties in subjects such as Mathematics, English, Science and computing. I used to make summary of lessons taught in class and explain it in simpler terms to them.
I recently enrolled in an English teaching course with Cambridge and passed successfully with 88%. I have good communication skills both orally and in written. These were gained throughout my years of studies as I had to prepare presentation slides and present them orally to the class. I am a calm and patient individual who always considers other need prioritized and help them to solve it. I also have good interpersonal relationship skills gained throughout my years of working in the hospital with patients. These skills are transferrable and qualify me for the position, online English tutor. My style of teaching will be very easy and simple in a way that students will understand me and be able to participate.
