Hello Everyone, I am Timothy Horst from the USA; last stop Portland, OR.  I'm currently living in Peru with my wife, Susy, my dog, Delbert, and our cat, Leo.  I'm a major dog enthusiast who once owned a pet store.  I have a good friend who lived in Japan for a few years and loved it, and I hope to go there someday.
 
I'm studying Spanish, but also have a passion for Music.  I play guitar, drums, and sing, both solo and with a trio.  I received a BA degree in Business Management from Sonoma State University in CA.  
 
Recently, I completed a 150 hour TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language) course and a 30 hour Teaching Business English course.  Teaching Business English is really my forte.  I can help you feel comfortable writing and responding to emails, making problem phone calls, negotiations, small talk, and more.
 
My teaching experience comes from my long Sales Career:
Whether teaching Doctors the benefits of using salivary hormone testing as apposed to testing in serum, teaching clients the differences in one life insurance policy versus another, or teaching home owners the types and appropriate uses of all the finishes available to them for their new home, my style has always been the same.
 
The way I like to work is to meet you through an introductory discount lesson (less than $2), and find out what you're really intetsted in accomplishing.  Then we can proceed with the correct lesson.
