Hello,
I'm Michael, an American who loves the English language and is excited to help you learn.
I've spent over 7 years working professionally in Corporate America, so if you need to understand how to communicate in a business setting, I'm happy to help. I worked in both the consulting and healthcare industies, where strong communication and an ability to help others understand difficult concepts was an important part of the job.
As far as my teaching experience goes, I'm new to teaching English, but I have some experience teaching other topics. As a part-time job after work, I used to work as a Teaching Assistant for a data analytics bootcamp, and that's where I fell in love with helping students.
Finally, I have also been writing articles (mostly about American football) for the past five years, so writing in English is another area I'm passionate about. I was able to turn that hobby into a part-time job after a few years of writing for fun, and I'd be happy to provide any writing support if you'd like, in addition to speaking.
As for my lesson plans, I'm open to helping you in whatever manner makes fits your style the best. If you want a pre-sturctured lesson plan, we can easily work through those together. If however, you have special requests or want to keep our lessons more conversational, we can do that as well.
