Hello, I’m Sakie!

I was born and raised in Osaka, and now I live in Aichi with my husband and daughter. My hobbies include watching movies and reading manga. I actually used to draw my own manga... People can never guess the type of music I like, so feel free to ask me about it during our lessons ;)

I started providing “academic support for immigrant children” in 2017, which sparked my interest in education and improving my teaching skills and knowledge. Since then, I’ve worked as a Japanese language teacher, children’s English instructor, cram school teacher, and private tutor for many different students.

  • 2022: Passed the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test
  • IELTS Overall 7.0
  • Speaks a bit of Spanish

I’m basically a “study nerd” who loves figuring out the “why?” behind grammar rules, pronunciation, and more. I also like literature, history, mathematics, and more. I can’t wait to embark on new journeys together with all of you!

    • I have many years of experience as a cram school teacher and private tutor.

    • I can also offer help with school assignments.

    • I pinpoint the source of each student’s difficulties, solidify the basics, and build up to more advanced skills.
