Hi! I’m Shaun. I’m originally from South Africa, I grew up in Ireland, and I now live in Spain. I’ve spent several years teaching English across Spain, mainly in intensive immersion programs for university students. These programs focus heavily on fluency, confidence, and natural communication, which has shaped the way I teach today.

My lessons are relaxed, fun, and centred around real conversation. I like using unusual, strange-but-true stories from around the world to spark interesting discussions. They make speaking easier, help you think more naturally in English, and give you something memorable to talk about. As we chat, I correct your English in real time and give you clearer, more natural vocabulary and expressions you can use right away.

I also take short notes on your speaking; vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, fluency so you can see your progress clearly after each session.

When I’m not teaching, I’m usually working on improving my Spanish or travelling with friends and exploring the outdoors. I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds, learning about different cultures, and having relaxed conversations that flow naturally, and that’s the same atmosphere I create in my classes.
