Anyhow! Please feel free to call me by my most familiar nickname, “Kaeru (frog)!”
I live in Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province.
Seongnam is just below Seoul, so we use standard Korean. I often visit Seoul, so I can recommend good restaurants and tourist attractions!
I really love to eat! I can say that eating is one of the greatest pleasure in my life.
I especially love pizza 
and maze-soba! I love the exquisite taste of kelp vinegar!
I also love playing games!
I enjoy playing games of all genres, from relaxing games like this, to online games like lol and overwatch. (I don’t like horror games though...)
Music! I really love music too! On the weekends I am happy just sitting around listening to music and doing nothing!
I’ve been listening to YOASOBI’s “夜に駆ける (yoru-ni kakeru)” a lot lately. I think the melody is fantastical and the lyrics are great. (I am bummed that I recently lost in a concert ticket lottery...)
I also like watching theater performances, movies, drama, TV, and sports! I am interested in many different fields.
The two most important aspects of my lessons are communication and enjoyment.
I believe that communication is the map for student to have their desired lesson, and enjoyment is the driving force for the student.
Therefore, in my lessons, I strive to encourage communication and enjoyment!
I will explain to you so that you understand why A is B, rather than just saying A is B one-sidedly. I do not give lessons in a rigid way, but in a flexible way! I will do my best to give my students the lessons they want to take.
My lessons will be conducted mostly in Korean.
The most important thing in learning another language is to keep using it. Even if you don’t understand something, just try to speak it in your own way! I felt the same way while studying Japanese.
If you are afraid of making mistakes, or start speaking with your native language because you don’t understand very well, or trying too hard to speak perfectly, your conversational skills will not improve!
You will learn much faster if you learn more directly how to say it and how it would be understood by others!
Therefore, i will give you lessons in Korean where you do not need to be afraid of making mistakes and do not need to be intimidated! Please try to express yourself in Korean, even if it is vague. I will help you learn even better expressions!
Therefore, I think my free-talking lessons would be better for those who already know some Korean.
However, I have also studied Japanese, albeit briefly, so if you are a beginner in Korean, please rest assured that I will do my best to prepare a lesson for you!
I am currently learning Japanese on my own while working hard to obtain my Korean language teaching certification. I would be more then happy if I can motivate my students through showing them my own efforts. Let’s work hard together!!
