Hello, My name is Catherine, but all of my students call me Khey since it is my nickname. I am from the Philippines who's working as an Online English Teacher to the Chinese and Japanese national for more than two years now. I'm teaching kids from beginner to advance levels. I also have an experienced in teaching adult student from my previous company.
I'm a certified ESL Teacher. I completed 120hours for TEFL Certfication and 140hours for TESOL/TEYL Certification.
I finished Information Technology major in Programming
course and I graduated in the year 2004. After that, I took up a Post Graduate program which is Web Designing for 6 months. I've been working in the office as an Admintrative Officer for more than (10years)
My passion in teaching and engaging with kids, gives me more reason to continue this journey as a Teacher. I am also a volunteer Teacher in our Community. We do feeding Program and Story Telling as a part of our mission.
Through the years, I developed my own teaching style and strategy when it comes to young learners. I love kids that is why I can easily get along with them.
In my classroom, I'm not just teaching from the book, I let my students to grow, practice, engage with activities, fun games, testing and so much more. Expect that in my class I can guide you to improve your vocabularies, grammar and pronunciation. I will make sure that learning will be enjoyable for me and for you.
In my free time I tried different kinds of recipe. I love cooking! From healthy snacks, diet food and to main dish.
I do some art works like, drawing, craft, and try some arts and crafts hack. I love meeting different kinds of people and about their cultures, that's why I really embraced my passion in teaching not only in English language, but what I can share to my students.
