I am passionate about teaching! I graduated from Drury University with a bachelor's degree in education. I was a teacher for four years in America. When I moved to Japan, I taught conversational English at the eikaiwa AEON for a few years. I later worked as an ALT at elementary schools and junior high schools. My nine years of experience have taught me how to work with people of every age and English level.
I believe that learning should be exciting! That's why I want to learn more about you. My lessons will be centered around your personal goals and interests.
Lesson Update:
My son was born! He’s very cute and energetic. I enjoy spending time with him and teaching him about the world. Since his birth, I've been very busy and I don't have a set schedule. Please be patient with me as I learn how to be a mom and a teacher.
I am slowly opening my lessons back up. For now, I have lessons available on most Saturdays and Sundays.
I will also offer lessons on improving your writing skills. Writing is very important for learning a new language. Writing and speaking are both output skills. It's a great way to practice English especially if you're shy or have low confidence.
Let's work together to improve your English!
