Hello, my name is Jez! 
I'm from the UK, and I've recently returned to the UK to look after my parents after teaching English in Japan for 18 years. I love teaching and hope to continue teaching Japanese students online. 
I loved living in Japan, my Japanese isn't great because I spoke English at work and all my Japanese friends wanted to speak English! But, I love Japan and its culture. I am am very interested in Japanese books, music, manga, movies, anime and games. I have travelled to many areas of Japan. I also love sumo!

My two homes, I miss sunny Japan but I love snowy England!

 

 
Teaching Background:
 
I moved to Japan in 2006 to teach on the Japanese government's JET Programme. I lived in Oita Ken for 3 years, teaching at high schools, and then I moved to Fukuoka Ken and taught at junior high schools and elementary schools for 15 years. I also taught many adult classes, from conversational English to business classes and university students. 
Since returning to the UK I have studied for and recieved a level 3 TEFL certificate.
 
Teaching Style:

I think I am a kind, patient and flexible teacher. I will do my best to make my lessons fun and to tailor my lessons to the needs of my students. Let me know what kind of lessons you want!
