Hello everyone, my name is Matt.
Self Introduction:
I am an English teacher living in America. I work at a college as an English teacher and I teach adult immigrants to America. I have lived in Japan, Hong Kong and Korea and I can speak Japanese and Korean. I lived overseas for over 20 years and have taught English for about 22 years. I love meeting people from different cultures and helping students reach their language learning goals.
Teaching Background:
I have 12 years of experience teaching in Korean universities. I also taught High School in Korea. I have 2 years of experience teaching ESL in American colleges. I have taught ages 7 to adult with the most experience teaching adults in a college setting. I have taught test preparation for TOEIC, IELTs and Cambridge exams. I have taught ESP to engineers and flight crew. I have taught low level beginner students to advanced graduate students. I have the most experience teaching adult academic English and conversation.
Teaching Style:
I have a strong background in grammar and pronunciation. I am happy to work with students to modify my lesson to meet their needs. Please tell me clearly your goals for learning English and I will do my best to meet your needs.
