Hello! Thank you for visiting my profile.
 My name is Jamaica, but you can call me by my nickname “Jam”. I'm an outgoing, vibrant, and dedicated online English Tutor who is passionate about helping people reach their English fluency goals. I like talking to people and helping them build up their confidence to speak English. I hope to provide the needed encouragement and guidance for students beginning or continuing their efforts to learn English.

About me:

I am originally from America’s beautiful Garden State known as New Jersey, and I have been living in the Philippines for almost 8 years. Based on my experience of living in a foreign country, I totally understand the struggle that comes with learning or mastering a language since I am currently improving my Tagalog (Filipino) language skills. Learning a language can be stressful at times, but you are not alone in your journey!

As an English tutor, I make it my goal to assist my students every step of the way; ensuring that they have the tools and encouragement they need as they develop their language skills.

I have a variety of courses related to Conversational English, vocabulary, grammar, reading, and American culture. If you are looking to prepare for the IELTS exam, we will study the contents of the exam so you are best prepared. Check them out below.
