Hello! I’m Harry, a British English teacher who is warm, enthusiastic, and approachable. I love creating fun, interactive lessons that help students achieve their language goals (づ｡◕‿‿◕｡)づ

I believe English isn’t just about grammar and vocabulary — it’s about how you express yourself. My teaching style focuses on real conversation, natural phrases, and the kind of English people actually use in everyday life. If you’ve ever felt like your English is “correct” but doesn’t sound quite right, I can help you make it sound more natural and confident.

I have extensive experience teaching Japanese and Chinese students. I lived in China for several years, which gave me a deeper understanding of language learning challenges and cultural differences. I’ve also taught many Japanese students online, so I’m very familiar with their learning styles and goals.

So far, I’ve taught over 6,000 lessons, and more than 850 students have chosen me as their favourite teacher, which I’m incredibly grateful for. This experience has helped me refine a teaching style that is both effective and enjoyable.

Before becoming a teacher, I studied Fashion Design in London and had the opportunity to work with celebrated designers such as Vivienne Westwood and Rick Owens. I hold a BA from UCA Epsom, as well as a 150-hour TEFL certification. I also attended boarding school in Scotland, where I studied alongside people from many different cultures — an experience that really shaped my communication style and global perspective.

I’m passionate about travel and enjoy immersing myself in new environments, which helps me better understand my students from around the world. Outside of teaching, I’m an avid reader and film enthusiast, and I love bringing interesting topics into my lessons to keep them engaging.

I would describe myself as humble, adventurous, and adaptable. I’m happy teaching students of all ages and levels, and I always tailor my lessons to suit each individual. My classes are relaxed, supportive, and focused on helping you build confidence while speaking naturally.
