Hi,

My name is Theresh. I am South African and reside there in the city of Durban, a popular tourist destination close to the beach.  English is my native language hence I am fluent in this. I also speak Afrikaans. I possess a 120 hour TESOL certificate and a total of 10 years of online, tutoring and  university face to face teaching experience. I am also a qualified Chemical Engineer holding a Masters degree.

I have travelled to Japan, Dubai, London, Dublin and Mozambique and enjoy meeting people from different cultures and speaking styles. I understand the Japanese culture well as I worked for three years with Japanese professionals!

I have a passion for teaching and believe that teaching English will unite the world and break down communication barriers as English is a universal language. I can assist children as well as adults.

My Lessons
I can teach beginners as well as advanced speakers with conversational English, grammar, vocabulary and business English. We can also chat about any topic you choose!

 

My lessons are fun and focused on the individual student as each student has unique needs. I am patient and approachable and I also use visual aids to assist students.


My hobbies
My hobbies include travelling, reading, painting and chess.
