Hello! I'm Alipio（アリピオ）

About me
I was born and raised bilingually in Los Angeles, California. I have a bachelor's degree in Linguistics from UCLA (go Bruins!) and am TEFL-certified. Before teaching, I worked as a certified interpreter/translator for 4 years. I lived and taught English in Japan for 2 years. Currently, I am living and teaching English in Spain!

• Pronunciation + the American accent
• Reading articles + comprehension
• Writing journals or short stories
• Jokes, idioms, expressions, American culture, etc.
Due to the nature of my lessons, turning your camera ON is expected. If you do not have a camera or can't turn video on, please refrain from requesting my lessons.

Japan life
I lived and taught English in Japan for 2 years (March 2020 - May 2022). I lived in 4 different prefectures: Aichi, Shizuoka, Kanagawa, and Tokyo. I have also visited Kansai and Kyushu on vacation. My hobby is studying the Japanese language. I love kanji! My favorite Japanese food is natto. Do you like natto?
