Hi everyone! My name is Sophie.
I have a passion for learning languages and I want to share this love with people who have similar interest, particularly in learning English!
I was born in Taiwan and I have studied and worked in the Uniteid States for a few years. I have taught English to college students and adults in Taiwan and I really enjoy this process of learning and teaching.
My teaching style would involve discussion and dialogue with students, which would allow me to find out the best learning strategies for each student. Therefore, if you are not only interested in learning English, but also how to find ways to improve the ways you learn the language, feel free to reach out to me!
I'm also familiar with the preparation of job interviews and resume writing in English as I have gone through this process myself when I was looking for jobs in the United States.
Since I have been traveling and interacting with students from different backgrounds- in the United States, China, Taiwan, Japan and France- I'm familiar with the difficulties students might encounter when they are trying to learn a new language. This helps me when I am teaching my lessons: I know how to better understand the needs of the studetns and help them find ways that could make learning the language easier and more enjoyable.
