Hello! My name is Takuiki, and I teach Japanese in Sapporo, Hokkaido.
I have been teaching Japanese since 2022, working with a wide range of learners from beginner to advanced levels. I currently teach both group classes at educational institutions and private lessons.
What I value most in my lessons is helping students actually use the Japanese they have studied.

In my lessons, I don’t simply give you the answer. Instead, we think together about how you can express what you want to say in Japanese, while making use of the Japanese you already know.
It’s completely okay if you can’t say something perfectly at first.
We can make a few corrections and then try saying it again in your own words.
By repeating this process, we will gradually turn the Japanese you “know” into Japanese you can actually use.
Whether you want to study carefully with a textbook or simply have more opportunities to speak Japanese, you are very welcome!
