Are you interested in Spanish learning options? Do you want to learn Spanish and have fun at the same time? Do you want to speak Spanish fluently? I can be your personal teacher. My name is Claudia Diaz and Spanish is my mother tongue, I'm a passionate, enthusiastic , creative and patient teacher with 6 years of experience teaching languages.
I'm familiar with different educational methodologies, aimed at supporting a Student academically, emotionally, and socially. My teaching techniques are student-centered and I take into consideration students’ different learning styles, including a variety of activities in my lessons, in which the main skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) are integrated. I apply the communicative approach so that learners have the opportunity to use the language in situations that resemble those of real life, encouraging interaction all the time.
Teaching children
It's well-known that children learn through vivid experiences and that is why my lessons offer a variety of activities to make learning an enjoyable experience. I not only include online interactive activities in my lessons, but also activities in which students use their five senses to learn (songs, realia, hands-on activities).
In addition, my language lessons also include sociocultural aspects and situations to build up respect, tolerance and appreciation for the different cultures represented in language learning settings.
About me
I am from the capital of Honduras, Tegucigalpa. Around Tegucigalpa there are small villages that are very attractive and mountains you can go to and enjoy the amazing view and fresh air. Moreover we have exotic, white-sand beaches in our coasts.
I'm friendly and fun. I love traveling and visiting the tourist places in my country and I also enjoy learning new things and spending time with my family.
