Hi there! I'm Polly. I’m an English literature graduate with a TESOL/TEFL certificate and over 12 years of teaching experience in four different Asian countries. I’ve been based in Japan since 2017, teaching at a well-known eikaiwa and living in places like Hyogo, Osaka, Nagoya, and Kanagawa. 日本の文化や環境にも慣れているので、安心して学んでいただけます。

Over the years, I’ve taught more than 12,000 English lessons, both in-person and online. My students include everyone from busy professionals, company employees and university students to casual learners and English fans. No matter your level or reason for studying, I’m here to help you feel comfortable, motivated, and confident to speak English. どんなレベルの方でも大丈夫です。自分のペースで進められるようサポートします。

People often say I’m cheerful, kind, and easy to talk to. I like to keep lessons positive and relaxed, while being focused and goal-oriented. When I’m not teaching, I’m probably experimenting in the kitchen, taking food photos, reading a mystery novel, or planning my next travel adventure. Would you like to talk about these topics?
