Hi there! I'm Tian Yi, an English and Mandarin tutor with an international background in media and communication. I grew up bilingual, speaking both English and Mandarin fluently, and have lived and worked across New York, Singapore, and other regions of Asia - experiences that shaped my global perspective and cultural awareness.

Before teaching, I worked in marketing and media planning for global brands such as Mars, Estée Lauder, and Medtronic, where I specialized in communication strategies across English- and Chinese-speaking markets. This experience taught me how to express ideas clearly, adapt messages for different audiences, and connect meaningfully across cultures - skills I now bring into my lessons.

My teaching style is interactive, supportive, and goal-oriented. Whether you're looking to improve your speaking confidence, master business communication, or learn conversational Mandarin or English for travel, I'll tailor each lesson to your needs, pace, and interests.

I also love sharing real-world insights - from language nuances to cultural tips - so you can sound natural and confident in any situation.
