Welcome! 

I'm Chris, (or Taigen), I've been an online English Tutor for a number of years now. I'm also here as a Life Counsellor, and Meditation Teacher, to help and support you on your journey through life, be it emotional support, relationship advice, or planning your future! 


I'm a TEFL qualified and experienced English Tutor and can help you work on improving your English - native phrases, pronunciation and sentence style. We can enjoy sharing a free conversation, with some feedback as we go, or we can use a structured class - it's your choice! Feel free to send me a message anytime and let me know what you'd like to do..

I am very calm and patient with my students, and I'm happy to give detailed feedback and corrections if you'd like that. I have a good sense of humour as well.. It'd be nice to meet you! We can work through material I suggest, or something of your own choice, or I can help you improve a piece of your writing or coursework in English.

Hobbies & Interests:
I have a wide range of interests, and I'm always curious to discover and discuss new topics. Some of my personal favourite interests are: Travel, Photography (Fujifilm X user), Outdoor Life, Hiking, Zen Meditation, Yoga, Reading, Films, Podcasts, Finance, Foreign Languages, Current Affairs, the Unexplained, Van life.

I have worked in off-grid locations, in gardening and permaculture and maintaining renewable energy systems.
