Hi, I’m Edward

Hello and welcome! My name is Edward, and I’m an English tutor who enjoys helping students feel more comfortable, confident, and natural when using English in real life.

I’ve always been interested in communication and how language connects people across cultures. That’s what led me into teaching, and it’s also what keeps me motivated after many years of working with learners from all over the world.

A Bit About My Experience

I’ve taught English both online and in person across Asia and Europe, working in training centers, schools, companies, and one-on-one settings. Over the years, I’ve worked with students aged teens to adults, and with levels ranging from complete beginner to advanced (A1–C2).

My students include:

Business professionals who need English for meetings, presentations, and daily work communication
General English learners who want to speak more fluently and confidently
Exam students preparing for Cambridge exams (IELTS, FCE, CAE, CPE, BEC) and TOEFL
Teen and young adult learners building strong foundations and speaking confidence

Most recently, I’ve taught thousands of online lessons, mainly focused on speaking, fluency, and practical communication.

How I Teach

My lessons are relaxed, structured, and very practical. I focus on helping you use English naturally, not just understand grammar rules.

In class, we might work on:

Speaking clearly and confidently in real situations
Improving fluency and thinking in English
Pronunciation, intonation, and sounding more natural
Exam speaking strategies and clear feedback
Step-by-step support for teens and young adults

Lessons can be fully customized, or follow a clear plan if you prefer more structure. I usually recommend starting with an introduction lesson so we can get to know each other and set clear goals, but you’re also welcome to jump straight in.
