Hello everyone!
My name is Joshua. I am from the center of England and for the past 3 years I have been living in Tokushima Japan teaching English to a whole range of ages. I've worked at 8 different schools teaching in a range of different styles. Group lessons, one on one lessons, Eiken coaching, speech practice, lectures for other teachers and I've also taught at a school for students who struggle socially at their school.
Currently I am in the UK but I am seeking to return to Japan in the next few months.
I am also fluent in Japanese currently holding the JLPT N2 certificate and looking to take the N1 test as soon as I return to Japan! I understand just how difficult it is to learn a language and aim to help you as much as I can by sharing my study methods and tips with you.
Although I am an English teacher I am also a game designer so fun and engagement is at the heart of all I do. I am also a computer programmer and have made many video games in my time. Feel free to check out my development website if you're interested!
I am also a lover of life and art. I write stories, play guitar and sing. (mostly at karaoke!) So if you like art too let's talk about it in one of my free talk classes!
