Freut mich dich kennenzulernen! Mein Name ist Andreas Lechner.
Nice to meet you! My name is Andreas Lechner.

If you already know the language we will mostly talk and play games and through that I can discover the parts you are weak in and help you improve those. You will find a relaxed learning atmosphere and a teacher who doesn’t just throw grammar at you.
If you want to start learning German I will give you non-mandatory homework and help you to the best of my abilities. Be aware that German is one hell of a hard language to learn so you have to do a lot by yourself.
I spent the years 2016 and 2017 traveling and working in, mainly, New Zealand, Australia and Japan. During my first part of traveling I taught many people basic German and how to use it.
In Japan I found a second home and even lived there for 6 months. During that time I also stayed at the Nano English Village near Okayama twice, and helped with a cultural exchange project in teaching English to Japanese. There I decided to become a teacher in Japan, to fulfil this goal I’ve started to attend the Karl-Franzens-University in Austria in 2018.
I graduated with Matura (can be compared to English A-Level exams or German Abitur) from a business school - main subject digital business and I attended a private music school once a week to learn guitar for 8 years.
Right now I study English, Geography and Physics to become a teacher in those subjects and move back to Japan.
Six years ago I got a chronic gut sickness (fructose malabsorption) which forced me to learn a lot about food and nutrition, I'd love to share that knowledge.
So why you should choose me as your tutor?
I am not a strict teacher, rather I focus on making the lessons fun. In my opinion a fun learning atmosphere helps the students to improve faster. I try to create that by using games, lyrics, adventures and personal hobbies to teach. If you can already speak basic German we will have a lot of fun together!
For fresh starters I also offer a starting pack with 3 lessons each 20 minutes.
When teaching I always try to adapt to my student: What does he need? Where are his weaknesses? How can I help him best?
That's why I offer free trials to learn about you before I try to make you learn something from me.
Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions for me. Looking forward to meeting you!
