オンラインで授業的な何かを受けるのが初めてでしたが、割と珍しい言語のため、英語のような気軽さがない中、ヒットした先生でした。 同じ年という気軽さもあり、また超初心者である自分にわかりやすく教えてくださいます。 教えていただくからこそ受動的にだけではなく、事前にわからないところ等ピックアップする積極さをもっていずれは習得できればとおもいます。

I have been taking lessons with Koyuki Sensei since October 2023, and throughout that time I have been consistently impressed with the quality of her teaching. When I started, I had almost no knowledge of Japanese. Since then, we have worked through the Genki 1 and Genki 2 textbooks together, and we are now about to begin Quartet. What I appreciate most about Koyuki Sensei's teaching style is the balance she strikes between patience, encouragement, and challenge. Her lessons are always enjoyable and engaging, but she also knows how to push me in the right way so that I continue to improve and stay motivated. She is highly adaptable and is always able to tailor her approach to my individual needs as a learner. I genuinely look forward to every lesson and feel motivated to study between sessions, often thinking ahead to what we will cover next. 一つ一つきちんと正確に習得していけるよう、とても丁寧にレッスンを進めてくださっていると思います。こちらの事情でとてもゆる〜いペースなのですが、毎回手を抜くことなく教えてくださるので、頑張る気になります。余分な話はほとんどされず、純度の高いレッスンと思いますが、でも、話しやすい雰囲気なので、聞きたいことがある時はいつでも話を割って質問できます。

I’ve tried a few different Japanese teachers and Hiromi is the best. Really thoughtful, well planned, friendly and helpful lessons. She explains difficult grammar easily and I always notice an improvement when I take regular lessons. Highly recommended!

Mineco-sensei and I have been reading 吾輩は猫である which is a book I have been very interested in for years now, but could never really understand by myself. Mineco-sensei always prepares thoroughly for each lesson. She makes slides with the words, phrases and grammar for each passage. She also researches the cultural background whenever there's a difficult part or idiom in the text, as well as prepares some sentences for me to read outloud as a practice. We always have a chat about the passage and every single lesson is a lot of fun. I really appreciate all of the work Mineco-sensei puts into lesson prep.
