I have been taking lessons with Koyuki Sensei since October 2023, and throughout that time I have been consistently impressed with the quality of her teaching. When I started, I had almost no knowledge of Japanese. Since then, we have worked through the Genki 1 and Genki 2 textbooks together, and we are now about to begin Quartet. What I appreciate most about Koyuki Sensei's teaching style is the balance she strikes between patience, encouragement, and challenge. Her lessons are always enjoyable and engaging, but she also knows how to push me in the right way so that I continue to improve and stay motivated. She is highly adaptable and is always able to tailor her approach to my individual needs as a learner. I genuinely look forward to every lesson and feel motivated to study between sessions, often thinking ahead to what we will cover next. While politics, religion, and diplomacy are often considered sensitive topics to avoid in conversation, she is able to address them with deep knowledge and insight. I believe it is quite rare to be able to engage in such meaningful discussions in an English conversation class.

I always look forward to my classes with リナ先生. Even when I bring up topics or questions that are not in the textbook, she always has additional materials ready to help me understand them. I'm truly impressed by her teaching.

福山先生は優しくておだやかな性格で、とても親切に教えてくださいます。こちらの希望に沿ったレッスンにも対応してくださり、いつも最後に「他に何か質問はないですか？」と聞いてくださいます。先生の会話レッスンを受けていると、楽しくてあっという間に時間が過ぎてしまいます。そして、先生の優しさに癒されます。おすすめします。

韓国語も慣れてくると同じ感情表現を使いがちですが、先生からカードで提示された単語から文章を作るので、記憶に残るのと、喜怒哀楽の場面を思い浮かべて話すことになるので、奥深いです。
