안녕하세요! Bettie Ido이라고 합니다. 일본 거주중인 캐나다인입니다. 43년동안 영어를 가르치고 있습니다. 말레이시아에서 3년 영어를 가리치고 1976년부터 일본에서 영어를 가르치고 있습니다. 네덜란드인인 부모님 밑에서 태어나 2살 때 캐나다로 이민을 가서 언어에 대한 관심이 늘 있었습니다. 저희 어머니는 제가 네덜란드어, 프랑스어, 독일어, 덴마크어를 말하길 원하셨습니다. 왜 덴마크어인지는 아직도 잘 모르겠지만 네덜단드어, 프랑스어, 독일어는 조금 할 줄 압니다. 2년동안 독일에서 일하고 최대한 많은 나라에서 배낭여행을 다녔습니다. 아래 사진은 모로코에서 독일어를 배우고 프랑스어를 연습했을 때 사진입니다. 캐나다에서는 프랑스어를 써본 적이 없습니다. 그래서 프랑스어를 잘 못하는 것 같아요
