I'm Japanese but live in La Paz, Bolivia. This is my 5th year living there.
My husband is Bolivian.
When I started to learn Spanish, I felt that I'd never be able to talk in Spanish, because there are so many conjugations and grammar rules.
However, as I continue learning, I realized how organized and beautiful is the Spanish grammar. Even though you don't like grammar things, definitely you'll love the Spanish grammar. Also, many English words are similar to Spanish, so it's not so difficult to learn Spanish for an English speaker.
