正直[しょうじき]、私[わたし]はベジタリアンではありません。
でも私[わたし]の好[す]きなスープカフェの料理[りょうり]がたまたま野菜[やさい]スープです。
そのカフェは減農薬[げんのうやく]または無農薬[むのうやく]の野菜[やさい]を地元[じもと]の農家[のうか]さんから仕入[しい]れているそうです。
その素朴[そぼく]な味[あじ]がたまりません。
日替[ひが]わりスープは赤[あか]かぶのポタージュ、根菜[こんさい]カレースープ、豆乳[とうにゅう]と野菜[やさい]のスープなど数知[かずし]れずです。
夏[なつ]は冷製[れいせい]野菜[やさい]スープもあります。
以前[いぜん]は常連[じょうれん]さんや店主[てんしゅ]と楽[たの]しく話[はな]しながら食[た]べていましたが、最近[さいきん]はお店[みせ]に行[い]っても黙々[もくもく]と食[た]べて帰[かえ]るかテイクアウトだけです。
このコラムを書[か]きながら気[き]づきました。スープは本当[ほんとう]に美味[おい]しいんですが、一番[いちばん]の隠し味[かくしあじ]は、みんなとおしゃべりしながらスープを味[あじ]わうことなのかもと。

Honestly, I am not a vegetarian.
However, the dish at my favourite cafe is vegetable soup.
I've heard that they buy a lot of vegetables that are reduced pesticides or organic vegetables from a local farmer.
I really love that simple taste.
For today's special soup, they provide creamed soup made of red turnips, curry soup with root vegetables, soy milk soup with vegetables, and things like that. I'm not sure of how many dishes they offer.
During the summer, they provide cold vegetable soup as well.
Lately, when I go to the soup cafe, I just eat any soup there without a talk or get any soup to go though I was eating anything while talking with other regular customers and the shop owner before.
While writing this column, I've realized that it might be the most secret ingredient for me to enjoy the soup at the same time as talking with them though the soup is so good.
