Warm-up: Read 5-6 headlines and guess what the articles are about.

Lesson 2: Expressing Your Perspective

Objective: To confidently express personal opinions on a given topic and support them with reasons and examples.

Activities:

Warm-up: Quick-fire round of opinions on simple topics (e.g., pizza is better than pasta).

Main Activity: Read an article on a controversial topic and the student practices expressing their opinion and giving reasons for it.

Discussion: Discuss different points of view on the topic and practice agreeing and disagreeing respectfully.

Lesson 3: The Art of the Debate

Objective: To participate in a structured debate, presenting arguments, listening to opposing views, and responding effectively.
