1. Warm-Up Discussion

Talk with your partner or group:

  • What does being healthy mean to you?

  • Do you think you have a healthy lifestyle? Why or why not?

  • What is one healthy habit you practice regularly?

3. Reading Text: Staying Healthy Around the World

Read the passage below and answer the questions.

Tom from the UK: I try to eat a balanced diet and walk at least 30 minutes every day. I avoid junk food and cook most of my meals at home. I also drink lots of water and try to sleep 7–8 hours each night.

Sara from Egypt: For me, staying healthy means managing stress. I practice yoga and take breaks during work to relax. I also enjoy preparing traditional, homemade meals with fresh vegetables.

Miguel from Brazil: I play football twice a week and ride my bike to work. I try to sleep well and avoid too much sugar. I also like spending time outside because it helps me feel calm and happy.
